**Khirde, [Date]:** A captivating bhajan sandhya (devotional singing program) featuring renowned Marathi singer Ajit Kadkade marked the highlight of a week-long Gurucharitra Parayan (recital), bhajan, and kirtan (devotional singing) festival celebrating the birth anniversary of Lord Dattatreya. The event, organized by the Shrimantrao Randhive Pratishthan at Shanti Niketan-Sadguru Colony in Khirde, drew a large and enthusiastic crowd on Wednesday.
Kadkade’s performance, featuring popular devotional songs like “Jay Datt Datt,” “Natha Ghari Nache Mazha Sakha Paduranga,” and “Guruvin Nahi Koni Re,” was accompanied by musicians Prakashchandra Vagal (Harmonium), Rupak Vazhe (Tabla), Dinkar Bhagat (Pakhawaj), Ulhas Dalvi (Talvadya), and co-singer Kishor Desai. Bhajan-Samrat Shivkumar Mohekar also contributed to the performance.
The program began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony performed by dignitaries, including Pratishthan president Dhananjay Randhive, Prabhakar Chorakhaliikar, Narasimha Joshi, Anant Vyasa, and D.V.
