**Hyderabad, India** – Popular Telugu actor Allu Arjun was arrested by Chikkadpally police in Hyderabad today in connection with a stampede incident at Sandhya Theater. Four sections of the law have been invoked against him. Section 105, a non-bailable offense, carries a potential sentence of 5 to 10 years imprisonment. He also faces charges under sections 118(1) and sections related to the BNS Act, which carry sentences ranging from one to ten years.

Following his arrest, Allu Arjun underwent a medical examination at Gandhi Hospital before being produced before the Nampally court. His father, veteran actor Chiranjeevi, was reportedly at his home.

Telangana Chief Minister, K. Chandrashekar Rao, currently in Delhi, responded to the arrest stating that the law is taking its course and that he will not interfere. He emphasized that everyone is equal before the law and that the police are acting in response to a death resulting from the stampede. The CM also briefly addressed the Mohan Babu controversy, stating that the matter is subject to court orders.
