**Hyderabad, December 10, 2024** – A bitter family dispute between veteran Telugu actor Mohan Babu and his son, Manchu Manoj, has exploded into a police case, with both parties filing complaints against each other.

Mohan Babu, 78, alleges that his son and daughter-in-law, Monika, along with unidentified associates, illegally occupied his Jalpally residence and threatened him and his staff. He claims the situation escalated on December 8th, with approximately 30 individuals trespassing and attempting to force him out of his home. The actor, a former Member of Parliament, filed a complaint with the Rachakonda Police Commissioner, expressing fears for his safety and seeking an eviction order and police protection. He also stated that his seven-month-old granddaughter was left in the care of hired staff.

Conversely, Manchu Manoj, 41, filed a counter-complaint at the Pahadi Shareef police station, claiming he was attacked by intruders at the same residence. He presented a medico-legal report from a private hospital documenting injuries consistent with a physical assault, including blunt trauma and abrasions. However, he also stated that CCTV footage from the property had been erased.

Police have registered cases based on both complaints and launched an investigation. The investigation will include reviewing evidence from both sides, including witness statements and any available security footage.
