**Hyderabad, India** – Actor Manchu Manoj has vehemently denied assault allegations leveled against him and his wife, Mounika, by his father, veteran actor Mohan Babu. In a lengthy statement posted on X, Manoj called the allegations “malicious, false, and baseless,” suggesting they are part of a deliberate campaign to defame him, silence his voice, and sow discord within the family.

Mohan Babu filed a police complaint on Monday claiming assault and requesting protection, labeling Manoj and Mounika as “anti-social elements.” Manoj refutes these claims, stating they are fabricated and designed to unjustly implicate him and his wife. He points out that he has been living in the family home for over a year and has never relied on his family for financial support.

Manoj also expressed outrage over the inclusion of his seven-month-old child in the dispute, calling it “appalling and inhumane.” He questioned the disappearance of CCTV footage from the family home, suggesting tampering and a deliberate attempt to conceal evidence.

He further alleges that his father’s accusations are retaliatory, stemming from Manoj’s public support of MBU students and local businesses allegedly exploited by his brother, Vishnu, and his associate. Manoj claims he has consistently been sidelined by his father despite years of dedicated work in the family’s film business, where he worked without compensation.

Manoj insists he has never sought property or inheritance from his family, challenging anyone to provide evidence to the contrary. He revealed that he attempted to resolve the family conflict through dialogue in September, but his request was ignored.

The ongoing feud between Mohan Babu and his sons, Manoj and Vishnu, has been the subject of much speculation. This latest development follows a previous incident where Manoj shared a video depicting Vishnu assaulting relatives in 2023.
