Mon Dec 09 18:20:00 UTC 2024: ## Pawan Kalyan’s Brother, Nagababu, Appointed to Andhra Pradesh Cabinet
**Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh:** Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has announced the appointment of Nagababu, brother of Jana Sena Party leader Pawan Kalyan, to the state cabinet. Nagababu, currently the general secretary of the Jana Sena Party, will be sworn in as a minister shortly.
The decision fills one of the remaining cabinet positions in the 25-member cabinet. While the coalition government already includes three ministers from the Jana Sena Party (Pawan Kalyan, Kandula Durgesh, and Nadeendla Manohar), coalition agreements stipulated four ministerial positions for the Jana Sena and one for the BJP.
In related news, the coalition has also finalized the nominations for three vacant Rajya Sabha seats. The BJP has nominated R. Krishnayya, while the TDP has selected Bida Mastan Rao and Sana Satish. All three candidates are expected to be elected unopposed on Tuesday.
