Tue Dec 10 14:31:02 UTC 2024: ## Manchu Family Feud Escalates into Police Complaints

Hyderabad: A family dispute within the prominent Manchu family has erupted into a public spat, leading to cross-complaints filed with the police. Manchu Manoj filed a complaint at the Pahādi Shārif police station on the evening of December 9th, alleging an assault by ten unidentified individuals at his residence. He further claimed that Vijay Reddy and Kiran Reddy removed CCTV footage from the location and that his life is under threat.

However, hours later, Manchu Mohan Babu, Manoj’s father, filed a counter-complaint with the Rachakonda CP, alleging threats to his life from his son Manoj and daughter-in-law, Mounika. In a letter to the police, Mohan Babu stated that Manoj, who had left home four months ago, has returned and is creating disturbances. He accused Manoj and Mounika of attempting to seize his property and threatening him and his staff at his Madhapur office. Mohan Babu, citing his senior citizen status and ten-year residence in Jalpally, requested police protection.

Manoj’s complaint, while mentioning an assault by unidentified individuals, notably omitted the names of Mohan Babu and Manchu Vishnu. He claimed to have sustained injuries while trying to apprehend the attackers but did not provide detailed descriptions of the assailants. Police arrived at the scene following a 100-dial emergency call but found only Manoj’s family members present.

Police have confirmed they are investigating both complaints and promised further updates soon. The incident highlights the escalating tensions within the Manchu family and raises concerns about the safety and security of all involved.
