**London, England** – Fortnite’s Chapter 6 has received its first update, introducing a plethora of new content beyond the battle royale core. The update focuses primarily on new game modes and returning bundles, with two significant additions launching this week.
First up is **Fortnite Ballistic**, a 5v5 tactical shooter launching Wednesday. This first-person shooter mode challenges teams to plant or defuse a bomb on compact maps, offering a Counter-Strike-inspired experience with a Fortnite twist.
Launching Thursday is **Brick Life**, a Lego-themed social role-playing mode. Supporting up to 32 players simultaneously, Brick Life offers a large cityscape sandbox for creative exploration.
Existing mode “LEGO Fortnite” has been rebranded as “LEGO Fortnite Odyssey,” adding a substantial new boss – the Storm King – and challenging Storm Dungeons.
The update also includes a celebratory Platinum event for the anniversary of the LEGO Fortnite collaboration, featuring quests focused on the year’s headliners, including The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, and Billie Eilish, among others.
A surprise addition is an upcoming Lionel Messi bundle, discovered by data miners and expected to hit the item shop soon. Several other bundles, including Futurama, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Beast Boy, will also return to the shop over the next couple of weeks.
This update delivers a diverse range of additions for Fortnite players, expanding beyond the battle royale into new genres and collaborative experiences.
