**Mumbai, India (December 10, 2024)** – The highly anticipated horror-comedy “Bhoot Bangla,” starring Akshay Kumar and directed by Priyadarshan, has officially begun filming. The film’s release date has been set for April 2nd, 2026. This marks a reunion for the iconic duo after a 14-year hiatus, generating significant excitement amongst fans.
The makers released a new poster today, following an earlier one that already built anticipation. “Bhoot Bangla” is a production of Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, and Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films, with co-producers Fara Sheikh and Vedant Bali. The screenplay is by Rohan Shankar, Abhilash Nair, and Priyadarshan, with dialogues by Rohan Shankar and the story by Akash Koushik.
