**Mumbai, India** – Akshay Kumar has begun filming his next project, a horror-comedy titled “Bhoot Bangla,” directed by Priyadarshan. This marks the fifth collaboration between the actor and director. Kumar announced the news on social media, sharing a poster depicting him in character near a spooky bungalow. The film, slated for an April 2026 release, is a joint production by Kumar, Ekta Kapoor, and Shobha Kapoor.
While the female lead remains unconfirmed, reports suggest that Wamika Gabbi will play a significant comedic role alongside Kumar, with two other actresses yet to be cast. Pinkvilla reports that Gabbi’s character will add to the film’s comedic elements.
