**Hyderabad, December 9, 2024** – Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy unveiled a statue of “Telangana Thalli” (Mother Telangana) today at the state secretariat in Hyderabad. The event, part of the state’s “Praja Palana Vijayotsavalu” (Public Governance Victory Celebrations), featured a spectacular array of cultural performances.
The unveiling ceremony was followed by a public address by CM Reddy. The evening’s festivities included a drone show, fireworks display, and a musical night headlined by S. Thaman at the Cultural Stage.
Multiple cultural performances took place throughout the day and evening at various venues, including Necklace Road, which hosted three stages showcasing diverse art forms. These included musical performances by renowned artists like Wade Shankar, Odissi dance by Sudipta Panda and team, fusion performances, magic shows, and a vibrant display of Oggu Dolu drumming. Food stalls, handicraft stalls, and cultural stalls were also available throughout the day.
The event marked a significant moment in Telangana’s celebrations and showcased the state’s rich cultural heritage.
