**Panipat, Haryana:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Haryana on Monday, launching the “Bima Sakhi” scheme aimed at empowering women. The initiative will recruit one lakh women nationwide as insurance agents, with an initial phase focusing on 35,000. He will also lay the foundation stone for the Maharana Pratap Horticultural University’s main campus in Karnal, a project estimated at ₹400 crore.

Separately, a minor girl who sought to continue her education despite facing arranged marriage opposition, approached local authorities, prompting the summoning of her father.
