The land acquisition, completed under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency Act in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act (RFCTLARR), 2013, has been handed over to the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA). Acquisition in three additional villages is ongoing.

In related news, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has approved a new 4-5 km elevated road connecting the DND Flyway to the Mahamaya Flyover in Noida. This project, initiated in response to a request from Lucknow MLA Rajeshwar Singh, aims to alleviate significant traffic congestion between the DND Tollway and Mahamaya Flyover, benefiting an estimated 500,000 vehicles daily. A feasibility study will commence shortly. While the Noida Authority is already working on widening the DND Loop, this new flyover is expected to provide a long-term solution to the traffic issues.
