**Los Angeles, CA** – The stars of Netflix’s new action-thriller “Carry-On” walked the red carpet at the Egyptian Theatre Thursday night for the film’s premiere. The film, a Christmas-themed airport thriller, features an ensemble cast including Jason Bateman, Taron Egerton, Danielle Deadwyler, Dean Norris, Sinqua Walls, Theo Rossi, and Sofia Carson.

Bateman, who plays a surprisingly understated villain attempting to smuggle a dangerous package onto a Christmas Eve flight, described his character as “just a guy” doing his job, aiming to complete his mission and get home for the holidays. Egerton, portraying the dedicated TSA agent thwarting Bateman’s plan, praised the unique take on the villain, highlighting the contrast between his seemingly harmless exterior and his malicious intent. He also expressed his excitement at working alongside Bateman, a long-time acting idol.

Carson, who plays Egerton’s girlfriend and fellow airport employee, lauded her role as a strong, independent female character, a refreshing change from the typical “damsel in distress” trope often seen in action films. She praised the opportunity to work with the stellar cast and producer Steven Spielberg.

Producer Dylan Clark spoke about the challenges of transforming an old New Orleans airport into LAX for filming, crediting the director and crew for their success.
