**Mangaluru, December 8, 2024** – Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Kota Srinivas Poojary stressed the importance of prioritizing off-grid homes when implementing the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, a solar energy scheme. Speaking at an awareness program in Udupi, he urged officials to ensure maximum participation and highlighted the available subsidies: ₹30,000 for 1 kW, ₹60,000 for 2 kW, and ₹78,000 for 3 kW solar panel installations. Poojary emphasized the role of local bodies in disseminating information about the scheme and its benefits. MLAs A. Kiran Kumar Kodgi and Gurme Suresh Shetty, along with Udupi Deputy Commissioner K.
