**TIRUCHI, December 8, 2024** – Passengers in Tiruchi are facing significant inconvenience due to the lack of bus route signboards at numerous bus stops across the city. Many signboards are damaged, missing, or in disrepair, leaving commuters unsure of bus routes and schedules.
The absence of clear signage is particularly problematic at locations like the Main Guard Gate, where multiple bus stops along West Boulevard Road are served by only one signboard. This forces passengers to wait extended periods without knowing when their bus will arrive.
“We have to wait a long time for buses,” complained S. Sasikala, a commuter from Kattur. “Without signboards showing routes and schedules, we don’t know how long we’ll have to wait.”
