Sun Dec 08 14:27:55 UTC 2024: ## West Indies Make Forced Bowling Changes for Bangladesh ODI Series
**BASSETERRE, St. Kitts & Nevis** – The West Indies cricket team has been forced to make two changes to its squad for the upcoming three-match One Day International (ODI) series against Bangladesh, due to injuries. Fast bowlers Matthew Forde and Shamar Joseph have been ruled out.
Forde is recovering from a thigh injury sustained during last month’s series against England, while Joseph is sidelined with shin splints picked up in the recent Test series against Bangladesh.
Replacing them are Marquino Mindley and Jediah Blades. Mindley earns his first ODI call-up after a stellar performance in the recent Super 50 ODI tournament where he was the leading wicket-taker. Blades also receives his maiden call-up following strong showings in the same tournament.
The three-match series will be played entirely in St. Kitts & Nevis, starting on December 8th, with further matches scheduled for December 10th and 12th.
The revised West Indies squad is: Shai Hope (c), Brandon King (vc), Jediah Blades, Keacy Carty, Roston Chase, Justin Greaves, Shimron Hetmyer, Amir Jangoo (wk), Alzarri Joseph, Evin Lewis, Marquino Mindley, Gudakesh Motie, Sherfane Rutherford, Jayden Seales, Romario Shepherd.
