**Munich, Germany** – Bayern Munich will be without captain and goalkeeper Manuel Neuer for their upcoming Bundesliga match against Heidenheim due to a rib injury, manager Vincent Kompany confirmed on Friday. Neuer, already serving a two-game German Cup ban, did not train with the team. Forward Serge Gnabry is also doubtful for the game.

The absences add to Bayern’s growing injury crisis, which already includes midfielder Joao Palhinha and star striker Harry Kane. However, Kompany offered a positive update on Kane’s thigh muscle injury, suggesting a return before the end of the season is possible, though he cautioned against setting a specific timeline.
