**Hyderabad, [Date]:** The Telugu television landscape has seen a significant shift in viewer preferences, as reflected in the latest TRP ratings. Star Maa’s “Karthika Deepam 2” has claimed the top spot with a commanding 11.96 TRP rating, followed closely by “Illu Illalu Pillalu” at 11.20. “Chinnni” and “Intinti Ramayanam” secured the third and fourth positions respectively.

However, the biggest surprise comes with the dramatic fall of “Brahmamudi,” which previously held the number one position. The serial’s TRP plummeted to 6.31, dropping it out of the top five. Speculation suggests that a change in broadcast time and a perceived decrease in storyline engagement contributed to this significant decline. Rumours also suggest the show may be ending soon.

On Zee Telugu, “Megha Sandesham” dominated, achieving a top rating of 8.74. “Padamati Sandhyaragam” and “Nindu Noorellu Saavasam” followed closely behind.

ETV and Gemini TV serials lagged behind Star Maa and Zee Telugu in the TRP race. ETV’s “Ranguluratnam” and “Manasantha Nuvve” led their channel’s offerings, while Gemini TV’s top performer, “Srimad Ramayanam,” managed only a 1.55 rating.

This week’s ratings highlight a clear shift in viewer interest, with some long-running favorites losing ground to newer programs and different broadcasting strategies impacting viewership.
