**Hyderabad, December 6, 2024** – Burra Venkatesham, the newly appointed Chairman of the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC), has pledged to restore faith in the commission among candidates. Taking charge on Thursday, Venkatesham stated his commitment to speeding up the recruitment process and ensuring transparency. He aims to make the TGPSC as efficient as the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Venkatesham promised timely job notifications and a swift, transparent recruitment process. He urged candidates to trust the commission and participate actively in the examinations. He emphasized his dedication to rebuilding complete confidence in the TGPSC among applicants. He highlighted his personal sacrifice, relinquishing 3.5 years of government service to take on this responsibility.

The Governor lauded Venkatesham’s service during his previous role as Chief Secretary, praising his dedication and leadership. Meanwhile, N. Sridhar, previously the Chief Secretary of the Scheduled Castes Development Department, has been given additional charge of the Education Department following Venkatesham’s appointment.
