**Hyderabad, India** – Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, the much-discussed couple of the Telugu film industry, tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad this evening. The wedding, a traditional Hindu affair, began at 8:15 pm and was attended by a who’s who of Telugu cinema, politics, and business.

Among the high-profile guests were several prominent Telugu film stars, including Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan and Upasana, Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar, Prabhas, and S.S. Rajamouli. The event brought together both the Akkineni and Daggubati families, marking a significant union within the industry.

The bride, Sobhita Dhulipala, was radiant in a traditional golden Kanjivaram silk saree, while the groom, Naga Chaitanya, paid tribute to his grandfather, legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, by wearing a Pancha.

While the wedding was described as “intimate,” approximately 500 guests were reportedly in attendance. Pre-wedding ceremonies, including a Mangalasnanam and Haldi ceremony, were shared by Dhulipala on social media.

Nagarjuna, Chaitanya’s father, expressed his joy on X (formerly Twitter), welcoming Dhulipala to the family and noting the emotional significance of the ceremony taking place near a statue of Akkineni Nageswara Rao, installed to commemorate his centenary year.

The couple, who kept their relationship private until recently, were first spotted together at an OTT event. Their engagement was announced in August. Chaitanya was previously married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

The wedding festivities, reportedly lasting around eight hours, included numerous traditional Telugu customs. Post-wedding, the couple are expected to visit a temple, possibly Tirupati Balaji or Srisailam. While rumors circulated about the wedding footage being sold to an OTT platform, sources deny these claims, indicating a desire to keep the event primarily a private family affair.
