**Mysuru, December 4, 2024** – H.V. Rajeev, former Chairman of the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA), appeared before the Lokayukta police on Wednesday for questioning. The questioning is part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of irregularities surrounding the allotment of 14 MUDA sites to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s wife, Parvathi.
The FIR alleges that the sites were allotted in exchange for Parvathi’s 3 acres and 16 guntas of land in Kesare, acquired by MUDA for the development of the Devanur 3rd stage layout. Rajeev, who was MUDA Chairman at the time of the allotment and a member of the BJP before switching to the Congress earlier this year, is a key figure in the investigation. The Lokayukta police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the land exchange to determine if any irregularities occurred.
