**Kalaburagi, Karnataka –** BJP state president B.Y. Vijayendra has assured that internal party disputes will be addressed at a Central Core Committee meeting this Saturday. Speaking to reporters at Kalaburagi Airport on Wednesday, Mr. Vijayendra stated that the party high command will take strong action against members engaging in anti-party activities. He declined to comment on Leader of Opposition R. Ashok’s recent trip to Delhi to meet with party leaders, stating he was unaware of the details.
Mr. Vijayendra further criticized the state government, accusing it of harassing farmers through Waqf Board notices and attempting to transfer temple and mutt lands to Waqf ownership. He also condemned a recent sexual assault of a minor student by a private school teacher in Yaddrami, citing the incident as evidence of a deteriorating law and order situation under the Congress government. He claimed that crime, including murder and sexual harassment, has increased since the Congress party assumed power in the state.
