**KOLLAM, KERALA – DECEMBER 4, 2024** – The Sreenarayanaguru Open University (SGOU) has significantly expanded its academic reach by signing Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with three prominent Kerala institutions: the Institute of Human Resource Development (IHRD), the Cooperative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE), and the Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha.

The MoUs, signed Wednesday at the state Secretariat in the presence of key ministers and university officials, will facilitate the development and delivery of various short-term certificate and diploma courses. The collaboration will also allow IHRD study centers to serve as both learning and examination centers for SGOU students.

The agreement marks a significant step towards increasing access to higher education in the region, leveraging the existing infrastructure and expertise of partner organizations. This initiative is expected to benefit a wider range of students across Kerala.
