BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND – Aston Villa are setting their sights on Athletic Club midfielder Oihan Sancet as their top transfer target for 2025, according to reports. The Premier League club, enjoying a strong season under manager Unai Emery, are leveraging their Spanish connections to pursue the 24-year-old attacking midfielder.
Sancet, a consistent performer for Athletic Club since his 2020 first-team debut, has impressed with six goals in 13 appearances this season. His talent has attracted interest from numerous European clubs, making it difficult for Athletic Club to retain him long-term.
