His wife filed a missing person report with the Santacruz police station in Mumbai on Tuesday after being unable to contact him for over 24 hours. Pal had left for an out-of-town show and was expected to return on December 3rd, but failed to do so and his phone was unreachable.
Police launched an investigation, contacting Pal’s associates. The situation was quickly resolved when it was discovered that Pal’s phone had malfunctioned, preventing communication. He has since confirmed that he will return to Mumbai on Wednesday, December 4th. No formal complaint was filed.
