**KOCHI, INDIA (December 2, 2024)** – Heavy rainfall lashed Kochi and its surrounding areas on Monday, causing traffic snarls but avoiding widespread damage, according to officials. The downpour, a consequence of Cyclone Fengal, led to temporary flooding on main thoroughfares, which quickly receded.
