Goals from Mohammed Sanan (53rd minute), Javier Siverio (61st minute), and Stephen Eze (79th minute) sealed the win for the hosts, despite a late consolation goal from Mohammed Irshad (88th minute) for Mohammedan SC.

The match saw a slow start, with both teams taking time to settle before launching attacks. Jamshedpur FC broke the deadlock through a swift counter-attack, culminating in Sanan’s expertly placed shot. Siverio doubled the lead, capitalizing on a goalkeeper error. Eze added a third after a scramble in the Mohammedan SC penalty area.
