**Hyderabad, December 2, 2024:** Kerala secured an 11-run victory against Goa in a rain-affected Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match yesterday. The match, shortened to 13 overs per side due to a delayed start caused by rain, saw Kerala win via the VJD method.
Winning the toss, Kerala opted to bat first and made a strong start. Sanju Samson (31 runs off 15 balls, including four fours and two sixes) and Rohan Kunnummal (19 runs off 14 balls) put on a quick partnership. Salman Nizar contributed 34 runs off 20 balls, and Abdul Basith’s late blitz of 23 runs from 13 balls helped Kerala reach 143/6 in their allotted overs.
