ಮೈಸೂರು: ಚಳಿಗಾಲದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಕೆಎಂಪಿಕೆ ಚಾರಿಟಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ನಿರಾಶ್ರಿತರು ಮತ್ತು ಅಸಹಾಯಕರಿಗೆ ಹೊದಿಕೆ ವಿತರಿಸುವ ಅಭಿಯಾನವನ್ನು ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 1ರಿಂದ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದೆ. ಚಾಮರಾಜ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಶಾಸಕ ಹರೀಶ್ ಗೌಡ ಅವರು ಈ ಅಭಿಯಾನದ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಶಾಸಕರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಮೈಸೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ನಿರಾಶ್ರಿತರಿದ್ದು, ಅವರ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಹೊಣೆ ಎಂದರು. ಕೆಎಂಪಿಕೆ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ನ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಶ್ಲಾಘನೀಯ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ವಿಕ್ರಮ ಅಯ್ಯಂಗಾರ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಕಳೆದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಈ ಅಭಿಯಾನ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ರಾತ್ರಿ ರಸ್ತೆ ಬದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲಗಿರುವ ನಿರಾಶ್ರಿತರಿಗೆ ಹೊದಿಕೆ ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಈ ವರ್ಷ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 1 ರಿಂದ ಜನವರಿ 15 ರವರೆಗೆ 1000 ಹೊದಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸುವ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು 9880752727 ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಗೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಿ ನೆರವು ನೀಡಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
**Mysore Launches Blanket Distribution Drive for Homeless**
**Mysore:** With the onset of winter, the KMPK Charitable Trust in Mysore has launched a blanket distribution drive for the homeless and underprivileged, starting December 1st. Chamrajanagar MLA Harish Gowda inaugurated the campaign by releasing promotional materials.
Gowda stated that thousands of homeless individuals reside in Mysore and protecting them from the cold is everyone’s responsibility. He lauded the KMPK Trust’s initiative.
Trust President Vikram Iyengar stated that this drive has been ongoing for the past four years, providing blankets nightly to those sleeping on the streets. This year, the goal is to distribute 1000 blankets between December 1st and January 15th. The public can contribute by contacting 9880752727.
