**Manila, Philippines** – A massive fire ripped through a coastal shanty town in Manila on Sunday, leaving at least 2,000 families homeless and approximately 8,000 people displaced. Dramatic images show residents fleeing the inferno, some escaping by makeshift raft into the sea, while others desperately attempted to salvage their belongings from the burning structures.
