**New Delhi, [Date of Publication]** – The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta is expected to release the answer key for the IIM Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 within the next 24 hours, according to media reports. While an official announcement is pending, candidates can soon access the key via the official website, iimcat.ac.in.

The CAT exam, held on November 24th across 389 test centers in 170 Indian cities, saw approximately 2.93 lakh candidates participate – an 89% turnout of the 3.29 lakh registered. The candidate pool comprised 1.07 lakh female, 1.86 lakh male, and 5 transgender candidates.

Once released, candidates will be able to download the answer key using their registration ID and password. A process for raising objections, requiring a processing fee, will also be available. The timing of the answer key release is unrelated to upcoming board exams scheduled for February and March 2025.
