**Bijapur, November 26, 2024** – A seven-day Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha, held at the residence of Pandit Lakhpati Dubey in Dodhar village, concluded Tuesday with a grand feast. International Katha Vachaka (religious orator) Poojya Prachi Devi captivated audiences for the past week with her enchanting narrations of epic tales from the Mahabharata, including the battle with Jarasandha, Krishna’s friendship with Sudama, and the story of Parikshit’s death. Her melodious renditions of devotional songs further enthralled the congregation.

The event, organized by Ramji Dwivedi, Akhilesh Dubey, Rajesh Dubey, and Vinay Dubey, saw the participation of thousands of devotees from surrounding areas. The organizers extended warm welcomes to several distinguished guests including Rajendra Singh Baghel and his wife, Smt. Sulochana Singh Baghel, R.P. Gupta, Girja Shankar Pandey, Anil Mehta, V.S. Upadhyay, and Amit Dhiman from NTPC.

Following a concluding yagna (fire ritual) on Tuesday, a massive bhandara (community feast) was held, providing Maha Prasad (sacred food) to thousands of attendees. The successful organization of the bhandara was attributed to the collective efforts of Rudradeva Dubey, Manish Jaiswal, Ganesh Sharma, Shriram Yadav, Shivkanti Dubey, Rambaran Vaishya, and the entire Dubey family.
