**Benoni, South Africa** – England Women have taken a 1-0 lead in their T20I series against South Africa Women after a four-wicket victory in the first match at Willowmoore Park, Benoni.

South Africa, batting first, posted a challenging 142/5. Their innings was boosted by a late flourish from Nadine de Klerk (29 runs) and Annerie Dercksen (26 runs) after a shaky start that saw them lose four wickets for 64 runs.
