**Hyderabad, November 28, 2024** – Parts of Hyderabad will experience a disruption in drinking water supply on Thursday due to scheduled maintenance work at a pumping station, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) announced. The outage will affect several areas including Badam Masjid, Balaganj, and several others (full list available in the original article).
In a separate action, the Water Board reported seven individuals to the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport police station for illegal water connections. The individuals, residing in Kummari Basti, Yadav Basti, and Kapugadda, each had two illegal connections and could not provide the necessary certificates. The HMWS&SB encourages citizens to report illegal water and sewage connections via their vigilance team at 9989998100 and 9989987135.
