Built on Mahindra’s INGLO platform, the five-seater SUV features a sporty design highlighted by a ‘BE’ logo, angular LED DRLs, LED projector headlamps, and connected taillights. It rides on 20-inch alloy wheels (base variant has 18-inch wheels) and includes a steeply raked roofline with an integrated rear spoiler. Interior highlights include dual integrated screens, a dual-spoke steering wheel, a large glass roof, an aircraft thruster-style drive shifter, and a central spar above the center console.
Mahindra offers two battery pack options: a 59kWh and a 79kWh. The larger battery delivers an ARAI-claimed range of 682km on a single charge, with Mahindra suggesting real-world range exceeding 500km. Both battery options support 175kW DC fast charging. The exact battery and motor specifications remain undisclosed.
The BE 6e is packed with features, including wireless charging, an advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS), auto parking, multi-zone climate control, an augmented reality head-up display (HUD), a 16-speaker premium audio system, ventilated and powered front seats, and vehicle-to-load (V2L) technology. Safety features include seven airbags (including a knee airbag), three-point seatbelts for all passengers, a 360-degree camera, and Level-2 ADAS.
While full dimensions haven’t been released, Mahindra confirmed that the BE 6e shares its powertrain options with the XEV 9e, featuring a rear-axle-mounted electric motor. Pre-orders are expected to open soon, making this stylish and technologically advanced EV a significant contender in the burgeoning electric SUV market.
