**Bengaluru, November 28, 2024** – A tragic accident on the Mysuru-Bengaluru highway claimed the lives of three individuals Tuesday night. A car carrying a couple and their friend veered across the median and collided head-on with a KSRTC bus near Sangabasavanadoddi in Ramanagara district.
The deceased have been identified as Liyakhath (50), a scrap dealer from Shivajinagar; his wife, Asma (38); and their friend, Noor (40). The trio were traveling to Mysuru to visit relatives when the accident occurred.
Police suspect that the driver, Noor, lost control of the vehicle, causing it to cross the divider and impact the oncoming bus. The force of the collision resulted in significant damage to the car, and all three occupants were killed instantly.
Passersby alerted the Ramanagara traffic police, who cleared the wreckage and transported the bodies for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
