**Minneapolis, MN – November 27, 2024** – U.S. Bank announced the appointment of Kristy Carstensen as the new head of its Global Treasury Management business. Carstensen, formerly the Chief Financial Officer of U.S. Bank’s Payment Services division, will also oversee the bank’s prepaid card organization.
The move comes as U.S. Bank anticipates growth in its payments business, driven by increased corporate spending and investments in digital capabilities and integrated payment solutions. Carstensen brings extensive experience to the role, having served as strategic capital management executive and CFO of Community Development Corp. during her 13-year tenure at the bank. Her leadership in Payment Services has been credited with improving client payment experiences.
