**Vijayawada, [Date]:** The Andhra Pradesh government has released the syllabus for the highly anticipated Mega District Selection Committee (DSC) 2024 recruitment drive for teachers. The syllabus, available as a booklet, covers seven subjects and outlines the curriculum candidates must follow from 3rd grade to intermediate level.

The syllabus is structured into several parts. For School Grade Teachers (SGT), the syllabus includes sections on General Knowledge & Current Affairs (8 marks), Perspectives in Education (4 marks), and Educational Psychology (8 marks). A significant portion focuses on Content and Methodologies (60 marks), split into theoretical (40 marks) and practical (20 marks) components. The Perspectives in Education section delves into topics such as the history of education in India, teacher empowerment, contemporary educational concerns, relevant laws and rights (including the Right to Education Act), and the National Curriculum Framework 2005.
