**Bhopal, MP –** Madhya Pradesh’s school students and teachers will enjoy an extended winter break this year, the state’s Education Department announced. Schools, both public and private, will be closed from December 31st, 2024, to January 4th, 2025, inclusive. This break also applies to teachers.
The closure will effectively provide a five-day break, including the weekend of January 5th, 2025, allowing students and teachers to celebrate the New Year with their families. Regular school operations will resume on January 6th, 2025. This year marks a significant change, as the winter break will be granted to teachers as well, a departure from the usual practice.
