Wed Nov 27 05:28:27 UTC 2024: ## Mahindra to Launch Two New Electric SUVs on November 26th

**MUMBAI, INDIA –** Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), a leading Indian automotive manufacturer, is set to launch two new electric SUVs, the XUV9e and the BE.06e, on November 26th. These vehicles represent a significant step in M&M’s commitment to the burgeoning electric vehicle market in India.

Both SUVs will be built on the company’s new INGLO electric architecture, described as scalable and modular. Key features include lithium iron phosphate batteries (59kWh for the XUV9e and 79kWh for the BE.06e), enabling a rapid charge from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes using a 175kW DC fast charger. The INGLO platform utilizes a lightweight, flat-floor skateboard structure and high-density battery technology. Furthermore, both vehicles will feature a compact three-in-one powertrain system, integrating the motor, inverter, and transmission.

While M&M has not yet released the driving range for either vehicle, the company has emphasized safety features. The INGLO platform boasts ultra-high-strength boron steel and a reinforced frontal structure. The battery’s low center of gravity, thanks to INGLO’s design, promises enhanced vehicle stability and handling. The exterior is designed to withstand high temperatures and rigorous crash tests.

The launch of these new electric SUVs signifies Mahindra’s aggressive push into the growing EV segment, focusing on providing affordable yet technologically advanced vehicles tailored to the Indian market. Further details regarding pricing and specific features are expected closer to the official launch date.
