Wed Nov 27 01:27:58 UTC 2024: **Andhra Pradesh Releases Mega DSC Syllabus Amidst Notification Delay**

AMARAVATI, November 27, 2024 – The Andhra Pradesh School Education Department released the syllabus for the highly anticipated Mega District Selection Committee (DSC) recruitment, offering a crucial update to applicants eagerly awaiting the notification. While the notification’s release has been postponed due to ongoing issues related to the implementation of SC sub-categorization following a Supreme Court ruling, the department has urged candidates to continue their preparations.

The syllabus, released at 11 AM today, is available for download on the AP DSC website. School Education Department Director Vijay Rama Raju confirmed the release. The Mega DSC aims to fill 16,347 teacher vacancies.

The notification itself is expected to be further delayed, possibly by two to three months, pending the completion of the SC sub-categorization process mandated by the Supreme Court. While the government has indicated a commitment to completing teacher recruitments by the start of the next academic year, the exact release date of the notification remains unannounced.

This early release of the syllabus follows a request from MLAs Vepaada Chiranjeevi Rao, Kancherla Srikanth, and Bhoomi Reddy Ramgopal Reddy, who appealed to Minister Nara Lokesh for its pre-emptive release. Minister Lokesh responded positively, reaffirming the government’s aim to complete the DSC appointments by the start of the next academic year, as he stated in the AP Assembly recently. He also addressed several questions regarding teachers’ issues, appointments, and duties.
