**Lohardaga, [Date]:** Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers in Lohardaga observed the 16th anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks by paying tribute to the victims. A candlelight vigil was held at Barwa Toli Chowk to remember the civilians and security personnel who lost their lives in the 2008 attacks.
BJP city president Sachin Kumar Sahu stated that the nation will never forget the horrific attacks and the sacrifices made. He highlighted the bravery of those who gave their lives saving others, specifically mentioning Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s heroism at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.
The attack, carried out by 10 terrorists, resulted in the deaths of 166 people and injured over 300. The event was attended by numerous BJP workers, including Kali Nayak, Subhash Kumar Singh, and many others. The BJP leaders emphasized the lasting impact of the tragedy on the nation’s psyche.
