HYDERABAD, INDIA – Actor Shritej, known for his roles in films like “Pushpa: The Rise” and web series such as “Parampra,” has been booked by Kukatpally police on charges of cheating. A young woman filed a complaint at the Gachibowli police station, alleging that Shritej had defrauded her by promising marriage. The case, filed under sections 69, 115(2), and 318(2) of the Indian Penal Code, was registered in Kukatpally after a zero FIR was filed. This is not the first complaint against the actor related to this matter; the complainant had previously filed a report at the Kukatpally station. Shritej currently stars in the highly anticipated film “Pushpa: The Rule,” slated for release on December 5th.
