**Puducherry, November 23, 2024** – A total of 334 people participated in the weekly “Makkal Kurai Theerpu Naal” (People’s Grievance Redressal Day) programme held across various police stations in Puducherry on Saturday. The initiative, organized by the Police Department, saw 174 complaints registered, with 95 resolved on the spot. Authorities have pledged to address the remaining complaints swiftly. Senior police officials, including the Deputy Inspector General of Police (Law and Order), were present at different locations to oversee the programme. The weekly grievance redressal sessions, held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at various police stations, are set to continue.
