**Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir –** The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) today released the results for the Class 11 (Higher Secondary Part 1) Private and Bi-Annual examinations. A total of 27,210 students passed out of 59,179 registered candidates, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 46%.

The exams, originally scheduled to conclude on September 24th, were extended to October 3rd due to the recent Jammu and Kashmir general elections. Several exam dates were rescheduled during this period.

The results show a disparity between the pass percentages of boys and girls, with girls achieving a higher pass rate overall (50%) compared to boys (43%). This trend was consistent across streams, with girls outperforming boys in Arts, Commerce, and Science. The Science stream recorded the highest pass percentage, while the Arts stream had the lowest.

Stream-wise pass percentages are as follows:

* **Overall:** Boys – 43%, Girls – 50%
* **Arts:** Boys – 37%, Girls – 44%
* **Commerce:** Boys – 48%, Girls – 55%
* **Science:** Boys – 57%, Girls – 61%
