**Tehran, November 22, 2024** – Iran announced Friday it will deploy a new generation of advanced centrifuges in response to a resolution by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) condemning Tehran’s lack of cooperation. The IAEA resolution, backed by Britain, France, Germany, and the United States, cites concerns over Iran’s nuclear program and the presence of uranium particles at undeclared sites.
The resolution, passed with 19 votes in favor and 12 abstentions, calls for Iran to provide credible explanations and a comprehensive report on its nuclear activities by spring 2025.
