**Los Angeles, CA & Osaka, Japan –** The 2024 MAMA Awards, a three-day K-pop extravaganza, will take place across two countries for the first time. The event kicks off in the Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles on November 21st (7 PM PST), hosted by Park Bo Gum and featuring red carpet appearances beginning at 4 PM PST. Eric Nam will emcee the red carpet.
The celebration then moves to Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan on November 22nd and 23rd (6 PM KST & 3 PM KST respectively). Kim Tae Ri will host the Japanese leg, with Lee Hye Seong and Hanhae handling red carpet duties. The event will feature special collaborations including a themed stage featuring Karina (aespa), Rei (IVE), Yeonjun (TXT), Hanbin (ZEROBASEONE), and Yoshi (TREASURE), and a special boy band collaboration, TOENZE, comprising members of TXT, ENHYPEN, and ZEROBASEONE. Other collaborations include Lee Youngji and PLAVE, and a solo performance by Yeonjun (TXT) with a robot. (G)I-DLE is also slated for a large-scale performance.
Streaming details vary by region. In the US and other select territories, Samsung TV Plus will exclusively stream the Los Angeles ceremony. Mnet Japan, Mnet Smart+, and Ponta Pass will broadcast in Japan. TVN Asia will cover Southeast Asia, while Mnet, TVING, tvN Show, and Naver will broadcast in South Korea.
