**NEW DELHI** – The Election Commission of India (ECI) has completed by-elections for 48 state assembly seats across 15 states and two Lok Sabha seats in two states. Originally scheduled for November 13th, the voting concluded after a revised schedule was announced on November 4th, delaying polling for several seats in Kerala, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh until November 20th. The only exceptions were the Kedarnath Assembly seat in Uttarakhand and the Nanded Lok Sabha seat in Maharashtra, which were not included in the November 13th polling. The ECI will announce the results of these by-elections on November 23rd.
