**New Delhi, [Date of Publication]** – The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced the results for the IBPS PO preliminary examination. Candidates who appeared for the exam, held on October 19th and 20th, 2024, can now check their results on the official IBPS website, ibps.in, using their registration number and date of birth.

The preliminary exam, a 100-mark objective-type test lasting one hour, consisted of three sections: English Language (30 questions), Quantitative Aptitude (35 questions), and Reasoning Ability (35 questions). A total of 4,455 Probationary Officer/Management Trainee positions are to be filled through this recruitment process.

Successful candidates will now proceed to the mains examination, scheduled for November 30th, 2024. Admit cards for the mains exam will be released soon on the IBPS website. Those who clear the mains exam will then appear for an interview, which carries 100 marks. A minimum of 40% marks is required for general category candidates and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates to qualify for the interview.
