**NEW DELHI, November 21, 2024** – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the much-anticipated date sheets for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations, scheduled to begin on February 15, 2025. The detailed timetables are now available on the CBSE’s official website, cbse.gov.in.

The announcement, made public on the evening of November 20th, gives students a significant 86-day head start to prepare. All exams will be held in a single session, commencing at 10:30 AM, with exam durations varying by subject. Major subjects will have a three-hour allocation.

For Class 12 Commerce students, the exams will start with Entrepreneurship on February 15th, followed by Business Studies and Business Administration on February 22nd and 23rd respectively, concluding with Psychology on April 4th.

A key change for 2025 is an increased focus on competency-based questions, designed to assess critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This shift emphasizes practical application of knowledge over rote memorization.
